Born: October 24, 1976    Primary Instrument: Guitar

Frank grew up to the phonograph playing Glenn Miller, Woody Herman, Duke Ellington, and all the other dance bands greatest hits driving deep a love of that swing feel. His mother would play guitar and sing a lot of folk and popular tunes from her day, establishing a desire to play guitar and sing himself. These two elements combined to eventually evolve into what became the foundation of his musical vision.

He started wanting to play rock-n-roll, but after mastering the power chord felt a need for something more intricate. The first real satisfaction of that need was found in the artistry of Jerry Garcia, whom he used to sit for hours trying to imitate.

A love for Jerry's drawn-out, heart-felt solos led him to the jazz greats and eventually an Education in Jazz. He finished his Bachelors Degree in Jazz Composition from the University of Utah in December of 2006. Since then he has actively pursued music in any venue he can.

He plays frequently for wedding, parties, and community concerts. His most frequent appearances are with his wife Melissa on cello. She graduated in Cello Performance and also studied jazz bass which she plays on her cello. Together they have a unique, complimentary sound that everyone loves.

Frank also plays often with his Quintet featuring himself on Guitar/vocals, Tenor Sax, Trumpet, Bass, and Drums. They play mostly for private parties and dances where there is a need for a tight sounding versatile band that can swing like there's no tomorrow just as naturally as rocking the house with Funk and R&B grooves.
