Gustav Svedung

Singer Gustav Svedung is a young vocal talent from Sweden, working in a diversity of genres, such as jazz, pop, rock and folk music. Gustav has studied singing and improvised music at renowned jazz school Fridhems Folkhögskola in Svalöv and later at the Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg. He is known to a wide audience through his appearances in Swedish National Radio show Morgonpasset, and from concerts with artists like My Closest Friend, Navid Modiri & Gudarna and Georg Riedel.

In 2008 Gustav formed a brand new quartet, Gustav Svedung Draft! Four unique jazz musicians will there team up to play direct and unpolished music, with equal parts of tradition and free approach. The debut album titled Medium Swing is just out!
