Started writing songs in 1970's when I joined the Songwriters Guild of America. Devoted 20 years to writing my musical. In 1996 switched to writing all kinds of popular music from smooth jazz to light rock, cabaret, and holiday songs.

I consider myself to be a very commercial lyricist following traditional methods of songwriting.

I have never written any song less than 100 times. I am very dedicated to writing a good lyric first.
