Matt Kendrick

I crawled out from under a rock on April 1st 1957 in Greenville NC also known as “snakeville”. I grew up in 2 cigarettes (Winston-Salem) and live there now. I hung around playing bass in downtown Manhattan in the late 70's with cheap rent and lots of fun.

One of my favorite gigs was with Amiri Baraka and Craig Harris here in 2 cigs. Now I like to play quarter notes 4 to the bar. I love to do that over some chord changes. What could be better?

but really
