“Precise, punching arrangements get the Latin jazz party going in the opening track Gozando, with Lannie Battistini whaling away on the piano and his posse of top-notch players keeping the groove going and alive... Battistini navigates to all musical ports of Latin America.” Latin Beat Magazine, June/July 2009

“In a time where there are those who are trying to cling to what works, there are those who continue to reach for the stars! Lannie's not one of those artists that puts out music for the sake of selling records, but for his passion, dedication and respect for the art (especially Latin Music) and of course, Latin Jazz.” Al Santana, Former DJ/Radio Host for WSJT FM, Tampa, Florida

“Lannie gives us a fresh CD, with clear harmonies and Caribbean taste. It is a return to lyricism. This music may not be new, but it is necessary.” Fidel Morales, International Recording Artist, May 2009
