A sophisticated talent. . .[the] rarest of bonafide crooners. BBC/Sir Terry Wogan/Nov 2008
Acosta's sound is reminiscent of Sinatra and other old-style crooners, and he has a very easy-going manner on wstage. The band was also terrific. . . great arrangements and a very polished sound. Broadwayworld.com/July 5, 2009
By mid-show, a surprising number of folk in the audience were literally swaying along as he sang. It was sometimes hard to remember that we were witnessing Acosta's New York debut. This new face on the scene has promise!
