Anthony Paul Gairo

Tony Gairo maintains an active schedule of performances as a leader of the Tony Gairo Band, an 11-piece ensemble based primarily in Philadelphia, and the Tony Gairo Big Band, a 17-piece Jazz Orchestra and as a sideman in a variety of ensembles. He is a jazz composer having had a tenure in the prestigious BMI New York Jazz Composer's Workshop (2001-5) with nearly 100 works in the book. He is an adjunct professor at Lafayette, Muhlenberg and Moravian Colleges in the Lehigh Valley of PA.
