Following an exciting and productive year for the groundbreaking ‘a cappella horns’ of Brass Jaw, the Glasgow based four-piece have set a release date of 18th January 2010 for their CD, ‘Deal With It!’
“Deal With It!” will be released on Scottish jazz label, Keywork Records.
Already well known for challenging the boundaries of “chamber jazz”, the inclusion of the award winning trumpeter Ryan Quigley creates a new ensemble that is truly unique in sound and direction and a group that is able to adapt to almost any performance environment.
Brass Jaw has since been described as “a saxophone quartet one step down the line of evolutionary mutation” and as being… “As mobile and pliable as … well, a very mobile, very pliable thing!”
