Born: July 3, 1969    Primary Instrument: Vocal

Born in Melbourne in 1969, Lisa discovered her passion for music at an early age. Encouraged by her musical family, she began piano lessons at the age of six. At the age of eight she gave her first solo performance to an audience of 400 people ” for an eight year old, this was a very important experience. From here on Lisa knew that her life would be music!

Today, wherever she performs, she dazzles her audience. Although only 164cm tall, Lisa has a big voice which covers 3 Octaves. Additionally she is a trained pianist, actress and dancer. Following her comprehensive training at the “Australian College of Entertainers”, Lisa worked in Television, Film and Theatre. To name a few examples, she performed in the musical “Cinderella”, was a member of the well known “Swing Sisters Trio”, was a regular guest on the Television show “Good Morning Australia” and was also active as a singer/pianist in the renowned hotels of Melbourne. In 1994 Lisa travelled extensively on cruise ships presenting her own solo show. In 1995 she released her first CD with the Title “Don’t Let Go” featuring a number of her own compositions.

In 1996 Lisa began a tour of Europe as a Singer and Pianist. She performed predominantly in the piano bars of 5 Star Hotels, in many cities of Germany, Switzerland and even spent several months in Istanbul, Turkey. But of all the cities that she visited, only one kept calling her back. Hamburg soon won a place in her heart as her “home away from home”. It was here that Lisa recorded her Live CD with the title “Natural”. Lisa was a leading performer at the famous Atlantic Hotel in Hamburg both as a solo act and with her Band the “Urban Pop Ensemble”.

In 2004, Lisa was given the opportunity to try her success in Belgium. She quickly made her mark there both as a performer and a voice coach for up and coming talents. Together with some of Belgium’s top jazz musicians she formed the band “Lushlive”. However, the dismal European summers, among other things soon convinced her to move on to sunnier skies.

Lisa is currently based in Dubai in the Middle East where she has again established a reputation for her voice coaching. She has just released her new album “It’s Time” which is receiving good reviews and radio play from stations in the region and is still pendeling between Europe and the Middle East for performances. Together with her Belgian band Lisa performed at the Dubai International Jazz Festival 2009.
