Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, Tom began playing at an early age. In 2001 he released his first recording as a leader with the mexican label discos imposibles He then pursued a degree in Jazz Studies at the University of North Texas. There he had de oportunity to play and learn from musicians such as Brian Mulholland, Adonis Rose, Ed Soph, and many others. Upon Graduation, Tom moved back to Mexico where has been performing in the most important venues and festivals in the country. He has colaborated with musicians such as Giovanni Figueroa, Agustin Bernal, Hans Glawischnig, Antonio Sanchez, and many others. In 2010 he realeased a new self produced record of all original music with Vico Diaz on bass and Giovanni Figueroa.
