Randy Quan's distinctive and toneful guitar stylings have taken him from featured guitarist with Booker T. Jones for 6 yrs, to touring with Chicago blues legend Billy Boy Arnold. He has performed and recorded with New Orleans/ Zydeco/Funk group Gator Beat, songwriter recording artist Indie Knight, renowned alto saxophonist Michael Bolivar, virtuoso vocalist Terry Bradford, the Mostly Dylan cd project, and master percussionist Kendrick Freeman.
Randy’s diverse musical background earned him a Native American Music Award for his production and performance on the album Koljademo”Destined Love Traveler. An award-winning songwriter, Quan is fluent in blues, R&B and jazz. Randy was referred to by Elena Welch in a recent interview on KGGV 95.1 FM as the “Ambassador of Style”. You will hear it in his tasteful use of economy and sweet sound colors.
