Rupert Wates

Born in London, Wates has been a full time songwriter since signing a publishing deal with Eaton Music in 1994. He moved to Paris in 2001, and there formed his own acoustic quartet. He came to the USA in 2006. Based himself first on the west coast, and since 2007 in New York City. He plays more than 150 live shows a year, in venues in every state. He's glad to be in America. So far, America seems equally glad.
