Guitarist Jack Grassel Gravely Ill

Acclaimed jazz guitarist, Jack Grassel, is gravely ill with a life-threatening bacterial infection contracted in early March of 2004. The cause of the infection remains a mystery. He was in intensive care during the early stages of the illness, when doctors gave him a 50-50 chance of survival. It is unclear whether he will play again.
