Grammy nominated Hammond organist, Brian Charette, is a leading voice in modern jazz. He has recorded and performed with Joni Mitchell, Lou Donaldson, The Max Weinberg 7, Chaka Khan, Michael Buble, Rufus Wainwright, and countless others. A SteepleChase recording artist, Mr. Charette, has recorded four critically acclaimed albums and will be recording his fifth in December 2011. This year, Brian has also been contributing master classes to Keyboard magazine.
Outside of music, Brian is passionate about chess and White Crane kung fu in which he holds a black sash.

I teach clinics on harmony especially unusual systems like that of Olivier Messiaen and it's use for jazz, writing for a larger ensemble using music from my chamber group, "Music for Organ Sextette".
I also teach body awareness/stillness drawing from my experience with Internal Kung Fu systems
