Although jazz comprises no more than 4% of CD sales nationally, there exists a cornucopia of good to excellent jazz musicians--female vocalists, pianists, and saxophonists especially. Nobody asks you to take part in a revolution or overturn the status quo. I guess you just believe things should be different (maybe better?) and you jump in.
