A native of St. Louis, Rex Bauer has been performing for over 20 years and has played hundreds of gigs with all types of bands; jazz, blues, rock, country, gospel, and tradional R&B throughout the U.S. and Europe including New York, Paris, Chicago, St. Louis, Washington, Amsterdam, The Hague, Munich and Prague. He has taught a variety of guitar styles to hundreds students around the world and his recordings have aired repeatedly on National Public Radio. His broad, flexible attitude toward music has made him the choice sideman and lead player of many band leaders, including his recent stints with Grammy Award winner Fletch Wiley and as guitarist for Washington DC's famous Imperial Palms Orchestra. Currently Rex resides in St. Louis and performs with a variety of jazz and blues combos.
