Oriente Lopez

Oriente Lopez was born and raised in a musical family in Havana, Cuba.

Oriente has been performing internationally as a pianist and flautist, for over 25 years.

He has distinguished himself as a composer and has been especially prolific as arranger. Oriente's compositions and arrangements continue to be recorded and performed by numerous performers throughout the world.

Awards:

Two of Oriente’s recent collaborations were awarded Grammy’s 2000 with Paquito D'Rivera "Live at the Blue Note", 2005 Charlie Haden "The Land of the Sun".
