Jazziz Magazine: Best Releases of 2004
“The Princess and the Moonlight -- Alejandro Cimadoro Quintet (CimaJazz). Argentine bassist Cimadoro’s talents as a composer and arranger are fully realized on this refreshing mixture of free-form pieces, bebop and restful balladry. Uruguayan pianist Nando Michelin and Mexico City-born drummer Antonio Sanchez complement the [George Garzone] saxophone and [Joel Yennior] trombone front line and the leader‘s luxuriant bass work.”
