Also with TOMKO Jazz Quintet with a Tribute set to Ray Charles. Songwriter, Singer, Saxophonist…… American, from San Francisco. Side man with several French names (Gun Morgan……Hot Jungle) as saxophonist-back up singer before forming his first band Wind Crazy in France and then Shajazz in Italy. Shajazz toured with Ella Armstrong and Firefly Worked with studio creation ARMED GANG as lead singer and recorded two top ten singles, Keep On Groovin' et Everybody Celebrate. Opened up one of the first private recording studios in Italy and started working with the Italian group Il Pooh. Back in San Francisco, worked with local groups (White Teeth, Nobody Famous, Jorge Santana) then recorded first 45 under his own name (Highway 101). Back in France,formed the band West Coast which recorded 45 (West Coast, I Was a Fool). National airplay and won the Jacques Brel prize at the Francophonies went on to open for ANGE, Hughes Aufrey and other French name bands. Works in Paris studios along side Curier (Compagnie Creole) and Alibo (SIXUN). Also fronts the band MOKO (rhythm & blues) from Rouen.

S'il est admis que le jazz est une manière de ressentir et de jouer la musique, alors on ne peut apprécier qu'à sa juste valeur le pari un peu fou d' «A B Road Quintet » constitué de personnalités musicales affirmées de se réapproprier une partie de la fabuleuse thématique des 4 de Liverpool. Mené par le chanteur américain Larry Tomko, influencé par le grand Ray Charles, le groupe, placé sous la direction musicale du pianiste Alain Ohier, compte dans ses rangs, outre le bassiste Pascal Combeau, deux musiciens connus: le batteur Jean-Marc Lajudie et le saxophoniste Jean-Jacques Taïb. A l'opposé de tout effet de mode, ces cinq « garçons » dont l'envie d'être dans le vent ne constitue pas leur viatique proposent tout simplement une relecture originale de ces thèmes inscrits dans la mémoire collective et qui pour autant se révèlent à l'usage aussi surprenants que subtils. Jubilatoire !
