Gray is an up and coming jazz guitarist. He has played lead guitar with Edens Unknown, a modern blues band, that sounds a lot like the John Mayer Trio for the last year. In 2010 he and the other band members wrote all new songs as a full, five- piece blues band to win the Philadelphia Battle of the Bands. In February 2010 Gray performed with the band at International Blues Challenge Youth Showcase in Memphis. He has studied with Morgan Maddox at the Westtown School. Recently he has collaborated in the studio with Eddie Motilla and is performing with the Nathaniel Vito Quartet (Donnie Spackman, drums; Natanial Vito, vibes; and Alex Plye, bass). Gray is studying jazz guitar and attending college in Greensboro, NC.
Awards:
Gray's jazz band won best in show and he won the title of "Outstanding Soloist" at a regional high school competition.Primary Instrument:
