After eleven years of classical music training, Andreas Baer chose the contrast of Jazz, Blues Boogie and Swing. Andreas, born in Brugg, Switzerland did not look back. Inspired by world-class players such as Oscar Peterson and Monty Alexander, he submerged himself in these styles. He is always looking for new challenges in improvisation. Andreas’ hands on the keyboard create a metamorphosis of varying styles and techniques and add his own unique touch while keeping the composition within its distinctive melodic vicinity. As a result, Andreas’ excellent and distinguished tunes have left a deep impression with concert guests in Australia, SwissTV and German TV audiences and also famous fellow musicians. His concerts also made an impact during the World Economic Forum in Davos, and various Music Festivals, such as Cully, Bellinzona, Lugano and the Montreux Jazz Festival, to name just a few. Andreas recorded his last two productions in the sound studios of Swiss National Radio DRS 2.
