Winnipeg born saxophonist Ben Zubrycki has been actively performing since the 1990s. He has played at a variety of events including the 2004 National Jazz Awards, Winnipeg Jazz Festival, The Regina Blues Festival. As a freelance musician, Ben has worked with numerous jazz and blues ensembles.

Recently, Zubrycki’s compositions and playing have been featured in the music of Upstream, an instrumental jazz/folk trio which he co-leads with guitarist Adam Mlodzinksi. Upstream released its debut album, The One Left Behind, in 2007.

In addition to performing, Ben is experienced as a clinician and private instructor. He currently resides in Brandon, Manitoba.
