Self employed musician, recordist. Home studio. Play most strings except cello. Like many genres: World, Indian(northern and carnatic), jazz, fusion, some rock, good acousitc. Play keys some,,love synths, play fiddle,,,Old Time, Celtic, European(French). Been with music since 8/9 years old when I started piano, cornet at 11, guitar at 13, fiddle at 41. and all the other stringed inst. about that time. Have old open back banjo, sarod(Hemen), tanpura, viola, acoustic guitar, 2 fiddles, 2 electric(2000 Parker Stealth hard tail, 2000 Reverend Slingshot.) Played fiddle in working song/dance folklore troupe from '95 to '04,,,2 tours of France, went to Nova Scotia, Berea KY, FL, and played all over Louisiana. 1 semester at Berklee in Spring '72. Studied the books hard in the 80's, then segued into acoustic roots music which led to fiddle. Got into North Indian Classical in '94-05, and on. Back hard with guitar. Record with Ableton Suite 8. Banging at playing over changes, and all thay entails,,,hopefully I'll remember alot of what I picked up in the '80s from my Berklee books, which I still have. Love to read, history, music. Love animals, pets, and Native Americana.

Guitars:2000 Parker Stealth Hard Tail, 2000 Reverend Slingshot, 1998 or so Seagull Grand parlor, 2 fiddles, 1 viola, 1 5 str. open back banjo(Fairbanks Vega conversion),,,play tenor banjo, and mandolin, but don't have them, have and play a hurdy gurdy(medieval style,,a Leverett Acquitaine), a nylon string lap harp, and a Hemen sarod(Ali Ackbar Khan style), other odds and ends. THD univalve amp, Traynor 20 watt tube amp, Langevin and AEA preamps, both using the Langevin ELOPs, into MOTU Ultralite into iMac, with Ableton Suite 8. MAudion Axiom 49 keyboard controller. Also have a Waldorf Blofeld module, but it's not hooked up, Beyer M160, EV RE20, AEA R92 LD ribbon, Shure SM7B, BLUE Blueberry, Soundelux U195,,other various and assorted mikes, a tanpura, set of tablas, a doubek, a davul, a bodhran, and an Alesis Micron I'm not using, but have, and a Fender Passport 250 PA,,,other stuff,,,,,,Record chain: Parker(or Slingshot) into THD, with RE20 into Langevin Dual Vocal Combo, into MOTU Ultralite into Ableton in iMac. Dynaudio BM5A monitors. RED BEAR PICKS!!! love 'em. Best thing since the shell I had in the '70's.
