Jeff King serves up his own brand of fusion jazz that includes elements of rock, soul, pop, classical, electronic, straight ahead jazz and funk on his debut CD on the G-THREE label. His compositions range from soulful ballads to driving grooves with a lot of unexpected turns in between. The album also features tributes to two classic pop hits, Peter Gabriel's Don't Give Up and Lennon and McCartney's Strawberry Fields The individual band members have a long list of diverse performance credits with many outstanding artists such as Oscar Peterson, Tony Bennett, Ray Anderson, Pacquito D'Riviera, Randy Brecker, Steve Turre, Dr Lonnie Liston Smith, Hilario Duran, Joey DeFrancisco, Mike Murley, Don Thompson, Denzal Sinclair, The Winnipeg Symphony and The Canadian Brass.
