Alan Plachta is guitar player (both electic and nylon), composer and arranger He has played guitar with some of the more important jazz bands in Buenos Aires, like Argentos, Richard Nant Quintet with Guillermo Klein, Ensamble Real Book Argentina, Inmigrantes Big Band, Escalandrum, among others. He has also worked with Argentinian folk music artists such as Carlos Villalba, Liliana Herrero, Cecilia Pahl, Ligia Piro, DuraTierra, among others. He is the producer/arranger now is workin of argentinian singer Daniela Horovitz. He is nowadays part of Tatadios Quartet and Ingrid Quartet. His partitures apear on the Real Book Argentina. wwww.realbookargentina.com Just released his new album: Colectivo Argentino Uruguayo. based on the music from Uruguay, featuring singers both from Argentina and Uruguay such as Guillermo Klein, Urbano Moraes, Liliana Herrero, Samantha Navarro, Cecilia Zabala, Matias Mormandi, among others.
