Flo Lawrence is not an unfamiliar figure to the Los Angeles stage. Having performed in more than one hundred venues in Los Angeles; two of her favorite are riding a real horse, brandishing a bow and arrow at the Theatricum Botanicum/Topanga in “A Midsummer's Night Dream” and “Alma” in a play of that title performed at the Los Angeles Theatre on Broadway; an old time movie palace built in 1931 by Charlie Chaplain.
Flo has starred in several films, internationally as well as locally with such notables as Sylvester Stallone, Owen Wilson, Klaus Kinski, Christopher Lloyd, Steve Kenaly, Mardi Kove, Gerald McRaney and Ken Kercheval.
Flo has completed a screen play called “BlackMarket,” a thematical match to a Marlene Dietrich song and is working on a feature based upon an interesting character from history.
As well as being an actress and a singer, Flo performs her own rhyming narrative story poetry. She can be seen every Sunday from 4-6 P.M. as part of the Mews Small and Her Fabulous Females at the Unurban in Santa Monica.
