Born: June 25, 1952    Primary Instrument: Vibraphone

A twenty-five year veteran of the Canadian jazz scene, Arnold has a lot of CBC Radio work under his belt on Morningside and Jazz Beat, playing with Don Thompson and Terry Clarke.

He has performed at most major Canadian jazz festivals with his own groups, and is a Yamaha jazz clinician and award-winning composer. Arnold is also a Berklee College of Music alumnus and former student of Gary Burton and David Samuels.

Since its formation in February 1999, arnold faber’s Vibré has delighted, warmed and interacted with many audiences large and small. The Western Canadian jazz festivals and the top jazz clubs have become a springboard for the group's evolution. Airplay and response in the east have prompted Vibré to now “go east”. A summer festival tour is being compiled as of this writing and it is anticipated that the group will go all the way to Halifax!
