Derek Fairholm is a 23 year old pianist and composer currently residing in the South Florida area. He holds a B.M. in Jazz Performance from the University of Miami's renowned Frost School of Music headed by Dean Shelly Berg, and performs regularly at various venues in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach. Derek is an experienced performer and adept composer and has formed several bands focused on furthering the possibilities of the interpretation of Jazz standards as well as original compositions.
