With a multicultural background and 20 years of live and studio experience, I am at home in any professional musical setting. What sets me apart from mainstream jazz singer is my ability to sing in a multitude of different languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Danish, Swedish...) so that I not only cover repertoire by Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Frank Sinatra and others but can also incorporate famous Latin songs from South America sung in their original language.
In addition to Brigitte's many musical performing credits she is also an experienced actor, musician and session singer available for studio and live work.
Brigitte's extensive engagements include performances at a multitude of hotels, jazz venues and music festivals across Europe and has been the supporting act for amongst others Celia Cruz, Orlando Cachaito Lopez, Buena Vista Social Club, Afro Cuban All Stars as well as performing at the UEFA Euro Cup Final 2003, EXPO '92 and Roskilde Festivalen (DK).
