Young Scottish drummer/composer/bandleader Corrie Dick was named as 'one to watch in 2011' by Jazzwise magazine. He is fortunate to be involved in a few exciting bands and to have shared the stage with a diversity of influential Brittish musicians including Bobby Wellins, Pete Wareham, Tom Cawley, Mike Walker, Paul Towndrow and Kit Downes. He is a current member of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra of Scotland and Strathclyde Youth Jazz Orchestra.
In 2009 & 2010 Corrie competed in the BBC Radio Scotland Young Jazz Musician of the Year Competition.
Corrie recently began studying at Trinity College of Music in London with Dave Wickins as his one-to-one tutor.
Corrie launched his debut release 'Scenes For Someone' (available for online download) in 2010 with a tour of Scotland.
