My name is Seth Weaver. I'm a young Jazz vocalist and trombonist originally from Nashville, Tennessee. I'm a sophomore at North Texas University as a Jazz Studies Major. I've recently been awarded the Downbeat Student Music Award for best jazz soloist. I've been a member of the prestigious UNT Jazz Singers 1 since my freshman year. I've been featured multiple times both as a vocalist and instrumentalist with the 3 O'clock Lab Band. Back in Tennessee, I've recorded multiple CD's with Blair Big Band and played with the Nashville Jazz Orchestra. I've studied with Ron Browning, Rosana Eckert, Barry Green, Steve Wiest, Roy Agee, Jeff Hall, and Denis Soli. My influences include Kurt Elling, Chet Baker, J.J. Johnson, and Steve Davis. I love music and am very fortunate to be able to follow my dreams.
