Katrina has been involved in the Seattle music scene since 2001 as Katrina Wible and now will continue on as Katrina Kope after getting married in August of 2009. She loves any and all kinds of music as you can see by the different bands she is in at the moment. Katrina was “jazzically” trained at Cornish College of the Arts but is continually learning from and growing with her fellow musicians.

Currently, Katrina is performing jazz around the area as the Katrina Kope Quartet for private as well as public events. You can also find her with her lovely band called Soul Kata. Soul Kata performs original Funk/R&B/Pop music as a 9 piece band and had their 2nd CD release at the Triple Door mainstage in August of 2009. You can find Soul Kata’s music on CD Baby, Itunes and Bandcamp. She has also been singing with local seattle reggae/funk band called Leisure Sound and will be releasing an EP some time this year. Not only performing as Katrina Kope, she has recently been working on a solo electronic/pop project under the name Kat Meow and has released a music video just this year called “Crazy.”

Festivals ��" Bellevue Jazz Walk, The U-District Jazz Walk, LakeFest, the Pike Place Market Street Fair, the Bite of Seattle, and Mostly Music in the Park on Mercer Island.

Private Events ��" Weddings, holiday parties, works parties, birthday parties, Camp Woscowitz (a camp for needy kids), and a few benefit concerts for cancer.

2004 ��" “So True” My first Jazz CD recorded with Daren Clendenin, Clipper Anderson, and Steve Korne.

2006 ��" “Soul Kata” Self titled first full length album w/ band Soul Kata. Soul Kata includes Josh Rawlings, Willie Holiday, and Nate Omdal who are all Cornish alumni.

2008 ��" “More” Single with Soul Kata

2009 ��" 2nd full length album with Soul Kata called “Here I Am.”
