Last Updated: January 9, 2013...a far reaching orchestra clearly capable of handling anything and everything that's put in front of it. - John Kelman, All About Jazz
As an absolute highlight in the European Jazz Meeting program I found the Trondheim Jazz Orchestra. The ten-piece band combined sophisticated musical comedy with highly sophisticated arrangements. Lovingly slanted characters, like sprung out of a Fellini movie, celebrating and outrageously funny. A brilliant jazz cabaret, a great sucess! - Hessische/Niedersächsische Allgemeine
The European Jazz Meeting began on Saturday afternoon with a fantastic concert by Trondheim Jazz Orchestra. In the jam-packed hall Borgward was the ten-member Norwegian formation that for years has been one of the most innovative jazz ensembles. A multi- voiced, sometimes untamed, sometimes lyrical warm sound between post- bop, from experimental and hypnotic sounds to cool swing. - Weser Kurier
