After a 20-year career as an international radio/video promoter and media publicist for independent recording artists, Kenny Love returns to his first loves of music composition and music production.
Kenny began his foray into music by learning the trumpet in the sixth grade and performing throughout his high school years. During this same time, he also learned a bit of bass guitar and piano, and concentrated extensively on music composition.
He went on to attend Prairie View A&M University as a Music Education major for two years, opting after his sophomore year to serve in the military. After four years of military service, Kenny became an independent recording artist.
During the early part of his professional music career, he was signed by the notable major label R&B producer Aubrey Skip Gravatt, who is also credited with having discovered disco queen Evelyn Champagne King. However, the major label deal never materialized due to Mr. Gravatt's untimely death.
Kenny, subsequently, independently released several single recordings that received both international radio airplay and print media coverage.
He is now releasing select original Jazz music tracks, with the first track titled, KuPaa (Swahili for Ascension). KuPaa will also be a selection on Kenny's upcoming full-length compilation release titled cAsE sEnSiTiVe.
