Maciej Grzywacz

Guitarist Maciej Grzywacz is a graduate of the Academy of Music in Warsaw (Poland), as well as Munich (Germany). His new trio album “Black Wine” features Yasushi Nakamura (bass) and Clarence Penn (drums). “Fourth Dimension”, his third solo album, features Maciej Obara (alto sax), Michal baranski (bass), and Lukasz Zyta (drums). His previous recording, “Forces Within”, saw him teaming up with Canadian drummer Tyler Hornby. Maciej Grzywacz's first solo CD project, “Things Never Done”, features New York trumpeter Avishai Cohen. His other credits include two Fryderyk award-nominated albums by the group (0-58), as well as recording and performing with Zbigniew Namyslowski, Jakob Dinesen and Adam Pieronczyk. Maciej Grzywacz is a faculty member at Academy of Music in Gdansk.
