Born: May 5, 1952    Primary Instrument: Flugelhorn

Born in Detroit and raised in the Midwest heartland, Tom began as a jazz trumpet and flugelhorn musician nearly thirty years ago. Equipped with a B. S. in Music Education from the University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse and Masters work in jazz improvisation at North Texas State University, Tom incorporates the ethereal sounds of minimalism and the rigors on contemporary composition in a music that jumps and breathes in a new way.

Tom currently operates a radio station named Beyond Bop. Beyond Bop is a free internet jazz radio station created for musicians by musicians showcasing some of the best kept secrets in jazz around the world. Tom's current play list offers jazz fusion tracks from jazzers in France, Israel, Poland, UK, USA, Canada, Spain, Italy, and Australia just to name a few.

Most of these tracks are relatively unknown and are not likely to be heard on commercial radio. Nonetheless, they're from some of the coolest cats on the planet today, bar none.
