Originally from Detroit, Paul made the New York City area his home in 2003. He successfully made immediate headway in the industry and has become involved in many projects, as well as a many local performances and a tour of Brazil.

A seasoned guitarist and composer, Paul has worked for 25 years during which time he has recorded many projects for film and television as well as many CD's as a leader and sideman.

Paul has performed with a wide range of musicians including: Yusef Lateef, Les Paul, Cindy Blackman, Joe Lee Wilson, Ted Curson, Guilherme Franco & Pe-De-Boi , Motown's Funk Brothers, Santi Bebriano, Marcus Belgrave, James, Carter, John DiMartino, Allen Farnham, Spirit of Life Ensemble, Charles Davis, Mina Agossi, Jack Wilkins, Clifford Adams, Sara Jane Cion, Dwayne Burno, Yashmin Charnet-Abler, Carlton Holmes, Bobby Battle, Cameron Brown, Chip Jackson, Ted Rosenthal, Craig Taborn, Bob Cranshaw, Adriano Santos, David McMurray, Ugonna Okegwo, Gerald Cleaver
