Scarlett has been singing ever since she can remember. She got her start singing in local clubs in her hometown of St. Louis, Missouri while still a teenager. Her first paying gig was at The Continental, one of the city's then upscale lounges. She was stunned when the manager put $35 in her hand for doing something she enjoyed so much.
Since moving to California, Scarlett has performed with the the Dr. Bob Finney Jazz Combo in numerous venues to standing room only crowds at the Gardenia Restaurant and Lounge, Lunaria Restaurant and Jazz Club, the Sky Room atop the Breaker's Hotel, the Long Beach Museum of Art, Rancho Los Cerritos, the Museum of Latin American Art, Duke's Place at the Balboa Bay Club, the Four Olives Restaurant, the Ristorante da Vinci, and the Madison Restaurant. She's also performed in Laughlin, Nevada, Marietta, Ohio, and Denver, Colorado. She released her maiden CD, Scarlett Fever, and appeared on Dez Rubano's CD called At'za Jazz.

These two [Dr. Bob Finney and Scarlett] and their accompanying musicians are talented, particularly Scarlett, whose smoke-laden voice sounds like it was meant to sing these songs. Grunion Gazette newspaper review of SCARLETT FEVER CD.
Innovative music...creating something new and interesting Press-Telegram article written by Luanne J. Hunt.
The sounds are sweltering with crisp resonance and sensual libretto. Dr. Bob Finney formulates magic with his tenor sax. Scarlett is the focal point of this wonderfully appealing and reflective showcase. Her voice does wonders for this classic [Night and Day] in a way totally different than what we may be used to... A very cool and sultry time tunnel trip... If you can see her live, please do not hesitate to go. - Review of SCARLETT FEVER CD by Karl Stober of www.jazzreview.com
She's a throwback to the big band singers of yesteryear says Decio Rubano.

Wonderful jazz arrangements...loved Scarlett's singing from California State University Long Beach event at their Japanese Garden.
