Mr. Klobnak is a versatile trumpet player that has been performing as an active musician, author, clinician, composer and educator. He has written two improvisation-based texts called Targeting: Improvisation With Purpose and Breaking the Monotony. Mr. Klobnak has played and recorded for numerous groups throughout Denver, CO and Des Moines, IA ranging from jazz, indie- rock/pop and gospel. He has toured across Europe including 4 performances at the 2001 North Sea Jazz Festival. Mr. Klobnak holds a bachelor degree from Drake University and a Master’s degree from the University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music.
