Born in 1977 in Paris, Paul Abirached started playing guitar at the age of fifteen. After graduating in French literature studies in 1998, he decided to devote himself entirely to music.

He then, entered the jazz department at the “Conservatoire Nadia and Lili Boulanger” in Paris, where he studied band workshop with vibraphonist Philippe Mace, harmony with pianist Bernard Maury, and arrangement with saxophonist Pierre Bertrand. He worked on guitar with Marco Campo-Arris and Misja Fitzgerald- Michel.

Since 2003, he divided his activity between teaching and his career as a musician. He performs regularly, under his name, in jazz clubs in Paris, from solo to quartet.

Among other important projects, he has worked since 2007 on creating a repertory inspired by Joan Miro paintings. This project entitled Ceci est la couleur de mes rêves has resulted to numerous concerts in France and Spain (Musée des Beaux- Arts of Nantes, Musée de la Chartreuse in Douai, Musée Matisse, French Institute of Madrid and Valencia, Alliance Française of Cartagena ...).

He also works with the french-american singer Daisy Bolter, created a repertory in duet and performed at the Theatre du Pilier of Belfort in 2010.

Since 2009 Paul Abirached took many trips to New York where he had the opportunity to work with pianist Marc Copland, bassists Rob Duguay, Drew Gress and Scott Colley.
