nthony Pocetti was born on June 3, 1989. He grew up in Hamilton, New Jersey and graduated Steinert High School in 2007. Anthony graduated from New York University and lives in New York City with a Bachelor of Music degree. Anthony was a jazz studies (piano performance) major and a computer applications minor.
Anthony is currently enrolled at in Manhattan School of Music's master's program for jazz piano performance. He studies with Ted Rosenthal.
Anthony has been playing piano since he was five years old. He learned to play through the Suzuki method, taking lessons at Westminister Conservatory Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey.
In high school, Anthony switched to studying jazz with pianist/composer Jim Ridl. Through New York University, Anthony has studied privately with Billy Drummond, Andy Milne, Gil Goldstein, Kenny Werner, and Jean-Michel Pilc. Anthony also spent a semester abroad in Prague where he studied with Beata Hlavenkova.
