On Song Review from CDBaby.com August 2011 Spectacular Collection of Jazz/Pop Music Author: Diane and the RadioIndy.com Reviewer Team

Talent vocalist, AJ Brown, releases his debut album, “On Song,” and what a spectacular collection of Jazz/Pop music it is. Brown has a voice that is smooth and charming and his array of songs are richly textured with classic big band sounds. Opening up the CD, “Hello Young Lovers,” Brown hooks you right away with his magnetic vocals and a lively big band appeal. This album has a wonderful assortment of tempos as most songs are lively and upbeat and there are a couple of beautiful ballads such as the song, “Home.” You will like his stylish renditions of the classic songs, “The Long & Winding Road” and “More” as Brown’s dynamic voice bursts with passion and soul. The last track on the album is a great classic song, “The Way You Make Me Feel,” as Brown spins this irresistible song into a stunning Jazz beat. Fans of Michael Bublé will truly appreciate the superb, well crafted Jazz/Pop songs on the fantastic album, “On Song.”
