Aaron Woolley

Aaron Woolley is a Trumpet player in the San Diego area who is trained in Big Band Jazz, as well as Classical. He began playing piano at the age of 4, and has taken lessons since. He began playing trumpet after the 4th grade, and has studied with Mark Nowak, Michael Timson, Charles Lauer, and currently studies with Tim Saeger. He has played with the likes of Doug Meusson, and Les Kepics. He has played in many professional gigs with orchestras, concert bands, jazz bands, and musicals. He plans to continue his music education at Colburn University.

Awards:

3 times in Middle School Honor Band 1 time in SCSBOA's All Southern California Honor Band 3 Years as Mount Carmel's Principle Trumpet player Was 2nd chair at Mount Carmel in their Wind 1 as a freshman, behind only a Senior.
