Cynthia Kaay Bennett is an Ohio native with a strong background as a musician as well as singer. In addition to playing clubs in the Midwest for the past 8 years, earlier in her career she toured in various states across the country for over 6 years, including a tour with the U.S. Continental Army Jazz Band. In her travels, she has performed at venues such as the Savannah Jazz Festival, French Lick Springs Jazz Festival & gala big band events at the Opryland Hotel. . She receives great reviews from musicians, club owners, radio personalities, jazz critics, and her audiences. Her 1st two jazz CDs, Wish I Knew and “That’s the Spirit” have received airplay on over 50 radio stations all over the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
Cynthia Kaay Bennett appears to be able to find the right approach whatever type of song she chooses. She has a marvelous singing voice and uses it to great effect; she certainly deserves greater exposure.
