Vitor Pereira was born in Porto (Portugal) where initiated his musical studies in classical guitar and classical music. His interest in Jazz took him further to participate in several seminars around Europe with names like: Pat Metheny, Jonathan Kreisberg, Gilad Hekselman, Aaron Goldberg, Matt Penman, etc… In 2004 he moved to London to study at Middlesex University where he finished a BA hons in J...azz under the tuition of Stuart Hall, Mike Outram, Chris Batchelor and Nikki Illes. Since then, Vitor has been an active musician in the London jazz scene playing regularly in venues like “The Vortex”, “Olivers”, “E17 Jazz”, “Spice of Life” or “Charlie Wrights” alongside musicians such as James Allsop, Dave Smith, Andre Canniere, Will Collier, George Crowley or Asaf Sirkis to name a few.
