Henri Gerrits - Trombonist/Composer/Arranger
Henri studied trombone at the Enschede Conservertory in the 80’s. 10 years after that he studied arranging- & composing with Joan Reinders and graduated in the 1999’s.
After his study he wrote for various Dutch orchestra’s like: The Metropole orchestra, Holland Big Band, Jazzmania, and beside that also arrangements for for all military orchestra’s in Holland and for several theatre productions. In 2011 he wrote a 25 minutes jazz suite titled “Noor Nederlandse Jazz Suite” for a workshop commissioned by stichting swing. That suite was written for concert band and rhythm section as a promotion for jazz music.
