Karl Charity

Trumpeter and vocalist Karl Charity, began his music career performing in musicals across the West End, Karl Charity has since supported a number of leading Jazz events including Roux at Parliament Square, Stompin On the Quomps and a sell-out performance at the Colour House Theatre.

Alumnus of the Royal College of Music, Karl has been playing the trumpet for over twenty years and has now taken to singing. A fresh, new voice, Karl performs some much-loved songs of jazz greats, from the dulcet tones of Chet Baker to the funky jazz sounds of Cole Porter.

Supported by his extremely talented band, including John Bailey (piano), Mark Allis (drums) and Shura Greenberg (bass), Karl Charity combines heartfelt, traditional jazz with creative zest to produce a thoroughly unique sound.

With a seriously mellow voice and slick trumpet style, Karl Charity is entertaining, energizing, exciting.
