Peter Nicholas

Peter Nicholas is a Jazz guitarist from Adelaide, Australia. Influenced from the styles of, Gilad Hekselman, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Pat Metheny, Jonathan Kreisberg, John Mayer and Neo Soul artists such as Dwele and Musiq Soulchild, Peter’s music is a hybrid of jazz and Neo Soul. Playing in both Trio and Quintet, his concept is a fine example of fusing a popular ‘cool’ and ‘smooth’ genre with jazz harmony, melodic structures and developments.
