Zoltan Szigeti

Zoltan Szigeti is a Hungarian-born pianist, composer, and educator, specializing in jazz. He is recently working as a university faculty member at the Southwest Associated University School of Music and Dance Art China - as an Associate Professor of Piano, and he is a mentor at the Berklee College of Music Online Extension School (Boston, USA). Zoltan is holding the "Foreign Expert in China" certificate, issued by Government of China and participates as a clinician by holding performances and masterclasses in different colleges and music institutions across South West China, teaching piano, music theory, and harmony, judging piano competitions and music competitions contests. His works of highlights also include jazz trio and quartet arrangements, commissioned for live performances, concerts, music festivals and studio recordings with notable Chinese and international musicians. Zoltan has earned a reputation as a composer and an instrumental and choral music arranger; he has a growing list of music publications and credits producing recordings, writing songs, composing and arranging for choirs and orchestras, for performances and educational purposes. His music spans a wide range of musical genres on records from classical styles to jazz and Latin music. Between 2006 and 2009 he has created music for the screen as a film music composer for Swedish State TV and the Appolo Music Ltd. in Denmark.
