There he quickly became a sought after drummer playing between 180 and 280 gigs per year.

Highlights include recording and touring extensively in Europe playing the music of Frank Zappa with the Muffin Men (2000-2006), recording and touring in a collaboration with the Ensemble 10:10 and playing festivals like Glastonbury, the Isle of Wight festival and the V festival.

Tilo also has recorded and/or performed with artists and bands as diverse as Jimmy Carl Black, Arthur Brown, Ike Willis, Napoleon Murphy Brook, Mike Keneally, John Head, Mickey Jones, Cushfoot, Beatlife, Mick Pini, The Grapes Band, Super Numeri, Benn Clatworthy, The Root Source and many others.

He has performed and toured extensively in the UK and Europe but also performed and led percussion workshops in Africa and Asia.

Tilo prefers to create original music and likes to play any style from Punk to Pop, Latin, Jazz or any other genre, as long as it comes from the heart and soul.

Tilo has been teaching from the age of 16 and is the teacher for drum kit at the University of Liverpool since 2005.
